Itinerary:
» The first stop along the famous Route 62 is Wellington, the dried fruit capital of the Cape.
» Over the breathtaking Bainskloof Mountain pass and into the "hidden" Slanghoek Valley. Experience some wine tasting and take a walk.
» Crossing the N1, we move onto the small village of Worcester where you have an option of visiting the Karoo Botanical Gardens which is home to a large number of indigenous semi-desert vegetation.
» Lunch is served at the restaurant on Kleinplasie, an open air museum depicting life of the pioneer farmers many years ago! For those brave enough, sample the local liqueur, Witblitz!
» The return trip takes you over the Franschoek Pass, offering striking views of the valley below, towards the setting sun!

» After lunch at Worcester we proceed through Robertson, Ashton and arrive to our destination…the leisure capital of Breede River Valley, Montague.
» Put your feet up in a comfortable guest house and enjoy an aperitifs before making our way to the natural hot springs.
» The following morning is spent at your leisure on one of the many activities Montague has to offer (hiking, mountain biking, horse riding.)
» Depart at midday for Cape Town through Franschoek stoping for lunch along the way.
