Anura Vineyards, situated between Paarl and Stellenbosch in the foothills of the Simonsberg mountain range, derives its name from the Latin classification of frog to commemorate an area on the farm fondly known as Padda Bult or Frog Hill.
The Bouma family has owned Anura since 1990 and their passion for perfection is to produce award winning wines with plantings of Mourvedré, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese and Malbec, to create hand crafted wines for the person who is looking for an experience when drinking wine.
Not only are Anura and Frog Hill wines available for tasting, but also their range of Forest Hill Cheesery products. Brie and Camembert are the main focus, with a Danish white making its appearance as well.
The tasting room is adjacent to the Lilly Pad restaurant, both share stunning views of the farm, the garden and mountains and offers a relaxed and casual environment of good wines, good cheeses and great times.
