Situated on the Tokai pine plantation, in Table Mountain National Park's southern area, the Wood Owl cottage is known by guests for its solid, back to basics service and facilities - a stalwart and thoroughly charming venue, with a warm communal atmosphere. The Wood Owl cottage is well furnished and cozy, one of Table Mountain National Park's most homely, self catering establishments.
Guests are accommodated in a set of three en-suite double bedrooms. The cottage itself is furnished with its own open plan kitchen and living area, separate TV room, fireplace, patio and braai (barbecue) area, as well as a telephone and daily housekeeping. Facilities include in-unit heating, tea and coffee making facilities, and appliances such as a microwave oven etc.
Activities available to guests include hiking trails, mountain biking excursions, bird watching, or the opportunity to lounge around the television room and exchange stories about the day's events.
