The concept of “Touching the earth lightly” lies at the heart of the Smitswinkel Tented Camp's setup and ethos - much like other camps in the park, it has been constructed entirely from locally harvested and milled timber, with a minimum impact design.
Set near a Flowering Gum plantation, the camp provides six safari tents, each complete with two single beds. Bathrooms are en-suite for all units, and the open plan kitchen / dining room are fully equipped for self catering, including a Dover stove. The units are solar powered, and an outside braai (barbecue) unit is provided. The units are also wheelchair accessible.
Hikes are available in and around the gorgeous Cape of Good Hope area, as well as self drives, angling, picnicking, beaching and cycling.
