We have opened up an exciting new section of river in the heart of the Breede river valley. Never been run commercially before. The trip is about 12 km long and meanders down, passing some of the nicest wine estates in the valley.
The bird life is incredible, in quantity and variety, and there is always the chance of spotting the elusive otter. Watch the Fish Eagles soar against the majestic Langeberg Mountains, the Kingfishers hover above the water before diving in for a meal or the friendly African Darters open their wings as you float pass them.
The river is gentle enough for first timers, with enough small rapids to make it exciting. This is an unforgettable experience for the whole family. So if you have driven the scenic Route 62 and enjoyed it, then why don't you try and paddle it.
We operate 7 days a week, (subject to availability), with a minimum of 2 people. All our guides are experienced and qualified with APA ( African Paddling Association ), have a current First Aid course and PDP.
