The Table Mountain National Park's whimsical Kommetjie section is the setting for Slangkop Tented Camp, a rustic affair, authentic and cozy. Constructed using wood collected and processed directly within the greater national park, Slangkop is fully equipped, and heavily infused with the character and history of the area.

The camp provides guests with hot water and an equipped self catering kitchen, as well as accommodation in its six attractive two-bed tents. Not entirely secluded, guests can take a short 2km drive to pick up supplies and use the facilities in Kommetjie, and the camp itself has access to the nearby beach.

Activities available to guests include wind and kite surfing, hiking trails, swimming, bird watching, camel riding at the nearby Imhoff Farm, the Slangkoppunt Lighthouse tour, Masiphumele township tour, and produce and curio stalls.
