Palm House guest house is surrounded by majestic palms overlooking the magnificent Constantia Berg Mountains, taking in the rear of the "Twelve Apostles" and "Table Mountain”. Palm House was designed by a protégé of renowned architect Sir Herbert Baker in the early 1920's and has been lovingly restored to its full grandeur.
Palm House has ten en-suite rooms and luxury cottages on the grounds, together with a pool house and a swimming pool, all just a short drive from the CBD. The entrance hall has original oak floors and a magnificent staircase greets you after entering the elegant arched entrance. Wood panelling open fireplaces and rich, relaxing and elegant décor will make you feel at home. A full English breakfast is included or you may prefer to serve yourself from our buffet, filled with fresh local fruits.
Our personal service and special attention to detail will ensure your stay will be an experience to be remembered. The rooms all equipped with Satellite television, direct-dial telephone, hairdryer, safe and also have fully stocked mini-bars. Some of our rooms have Giant King-size Beds while others have 2 full-size double beds.
Our Executive Pool House is a mini Palm House overlooking the pool and gardens. It has accommodation for 6 people in 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 lounges. The upper floor has a balcony with views of the mountain.
Family Cottages on the grounds have 2 bedrooms and a shower room. The front bedroom has a seating area for evenings and an outside terrace with table and chairs.
Relax in our intimate Bar, or sit by the large open fire in winter, and in summer sit out under the stars in the terrace garden or relax in the pool gazebo.
