 | This webcam shows a fantastic view of Table Mountain from the upper cableway station. Table Mountain rises over a kilometre out of the ocean and is visible from 200 kilometres out to sea, on a clear day. The summit at Maclear's Beacon, its highest point, rises to a height of 1085m and is approximately 3km wide. There are over two kilometres of paths and numerous view sites on the summit. You can have a drink or meal at the Self Service Restaurant or the Cableway Cocktail Bar. Blouberg beach offers wonderful view of the CBD and from here you can shoot the perfect postcard picture of Table Mountain(see webcam). Bloubergstrand offers long, sandy beaches frequented by dog walkers and kite flyers. The large crashing waves, supported by the regular strong southeaster winds of the Western Cape, makes Bloubergstrand one of the fastest and hottest places worldwide for windsurfing. Nestling between steep hills that run into the ocean, the bay is only 150 metres wide. The right side of the bay, is the spot that produces perfect point break walls. The takeoff is right near a rock that sticks out the water. It then walls away from you and down a shallow line of rocks.  | This webcam is located on Fish Hoek beach, boasting a long stretch of a white sand and is one of the safest and warmest swimming beaches in Cape Town. The cat walk or Jager’s walk runs along the mountainside of Fish Hoek beach, takes the visitor as far as Sunny Cove where dolphins and whales can be viewed in season. The beach is equipped with a playground for children, a refreshment kiosk and restaurant. Fish hoek beach has a secure parking area and is great for swimming, snorkeling, hobie-cat sailing and paddle-skiing. Visitors can sometimes be treated to the sight of the local fishermen bringing in a catch the old fashioned way.

The history of this wine farm can be traced back to 1818. Originally named “Good Success", owned by Daniel Johannes van Ryneveld from Amsterdam, this 50 hectare estate extended to most of the catchments area in the valley enclosed by the Simonsberg, Kanonkop and Klapmutsberg. From the farm and the jetty of the winery you have magnificent views over the vineyards of Table Mountain from the slopes of the Simonsberg.
