This webcam shows a fantastic view of Table Mountain from the upper cableway station. Table Mountain rises over a kilometre out of the ocean and is visible from 200 kilometres out to sea, on a clear day. The summit at Maclear's Beacon, its highest point, rises to a height of 1085m and is approximately 3km wide. There are over two kilometres of paths and numerous view sites on the summit. You can have a drink or meal at the Self Service Restaurant or the Cableway Cocktail Bar. The weather is very unpredictable on the mountain and can turn cold very quickly, so take adequate warm clothing. See our other Cape Town webcams.
