This webcam is located on Fish Hoek beach, boasting a long stretch of a white sand and is one of the safest and warmest swimming beaches in Cape Town. The cat walk or Jager’s walk runs along the mountainside of Fish Hoek beach, takes the visitor as far as Sunny Cove where dolphins and whales can be viewed in season. The beach is equipped with a playground for children, a refreshment kiosk and restaurant. Fish hoek beach has a secure parking area and is great for swimming, snorkeling, hobie-cat sailing and paddle-skiing. Visitors can sometimes be treated to the sight of the local fishermen bringing in a catch the old fashioned way.
