Riverside Cottage Reviews

We stayed over from the Friday and departed on the Sunday. We enjoyed it very much. It is a excellent setting with beautiful scenery. The accomodation is neat and comfortable, we did not need to bring anything except clothing and food. A very relaxing stay indeed.

We had a wonderful stay at Riverside Cottage. Marilyn is very helpful and with her personal touch of homemade cookies at the coffee station, flowers in the kitchen, sweets in the room... let us feel very welcome!! The house is very big, with two bathrooms, lovely stoep under a milkwood tree. We had our breakfast under the tree with birds chattering away just meters from us, also interested in our breakfast. Velddrif itself - we loved it! Eccentric people and places, lots of birds. We love kayaking and this is now our favourite spot for kayaking. Will definitely return!

We recently needed a break frm our busy lives in the city and found Riverside Cottage on the net.On arrival we were presently suprised by the beautiful little town.The cottage itself is much bigger than we anticipated with everything we needed and more.
If u need Time out then the Riverside Cottage is the ideal place for u. U will leave clean fresh and revitalised just as Riverside Cottage. I highly reccommend it.We will defnitly be back.

The cottage was very clean and the Manager Lady Marilyn extremely pleasant and accommodating. The beds are first class and comfortable. We had a very good stay in Veldrif at Riverside Cottage. Thank you very much - we will be back

Thank you VERY much for a wonderful weekend! Although the golf wasn't something to be bragging about, we still enjoyed every second of our stay! Will definitely come again next year!
