The place was extremely nice, value for money I will always use it for my vacation in Capetown.

The location of the apartment is perfect. Not 5

• luxury but very clean, spacious and fully equipped for our family of 5. Great value for money, especially considering the location.

Our stay in V&A Marina Residental, Gulmarn Building, was exceptional in many ways. First of all the warm reception from Ms. Brand upon arrival, who facilitated our check in and explained everything about the accomidation, the residential complex, and even tips about getting around Cape Twon, was a great start to our wonderful week in the city. The apartment itself was amazing, wide, beautiful, well furnished, fully equipped with everything you would need and even more. It has a wonderful view of the marina, and even if you chose not to leave the apartment, sitting on the table at the balcony and admiring the wonderful sight it provides will be a romantic thing to do with your loved ones. The security level in the complex itself is beyond what you would expect, so safety was never a concern for us. The area itself is safe and lively, and the apartment is a 5 minutes walk from the Victoria Wharf Mall and the waterfron attractions around it. 
I would definitely recommend the place for any of my friends, and I would stay again in this great place again if I got the chance to visit this amazing city in the future.

The apartment was lovely and it gave me the privacy and freedom I was looking for, it was definitely a home away from home.

I found the following faults though:
The shower is a poor design and is a bit too open to be warm and inviting.
Generally the flat was very cold and even with the heater on it just never got warm.
The gap under the front door needs to be blocked as the wind howls straight under it and into the kitchen.
It would have been nice to have wireless internet access as opposed to a cable, but that is a small fault.

Other than that it was lovely. Close to all attractions and shops, very quiet, an all round good place to stay.

My daughter and I stayed stayed for six nights at the V&A Marina Residential. The service was super and the facilities were outstanding. The apartment was in excellent condition and the host, Mrs. Francoise Brand, was exceptionally friendly. I highly appreciate and value her service. I'll highly recommend the V&A Marina Residential to other travellers. The V&A Marina Residential made our visit to Cape Town enjoyable.
