The ICON
Hotel was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel but the road workings that we experienced at 1am on friday the 4th March 2011 was terrible and we could not sleep and unfortunatly were not warned prior to our arrival nor were we warned on arrival.

nice but noisy
The apartment was very nice, rooms need individual aircons. The roadworks oviously will be finished one day and out of the control of the hotel. hoever the doors banging is totally unacepptable. something needs to be done about this. there are constantly doors banging day and night. not ideal for taking a toddler.

What a hotel
After I was told that the hotel is in the City center, based on my experience about the city center of many town, I was expecting the same, but upon arrival my wife and the other copuple we were traveling with were very impresed. That was value for money. I usually like to experieve different hotels when I am travelling for holidays, but with ICON I'll defenatelly go back there. It was like I was staying at a four star hotel at a price of a two star hotel, considering that it was December.

Suitably Impressed with The Icon
We stayed in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment with a spacious living space and above average kitchen , comparable to any of the apartments we have stayed in Cape Town and actually better value for money than the V&A Waterfront.The staff were low key but very helpfull and found us an iron and a hair dryer in quick time. The parking was secure and although we had to pay it was worth it as the attendant was there 24 /7. Easy to find and easy walking to Long St - bit of a hike to the Waterfront across some busy intersections. Pool area very nice and very clean. Will use The Icon again

The Icon Hotel was very unassuming when we got there but the quality and standard of their rooms blew me away.
A bit more could be done on uplifting their reception area.
Overal the hoptel is wxcellent.

Business stay
I found the ICON comfortable, a good location, clean and the staff very helpful. I would recommend esp for stays of a week or more.

Home away from home !
The reception / lobby needs a face lift but the units are stunning - I was very impressed with the decor , cleanliness of bedding , bathrooms & kitchen.
The Icon is great value for money & it is very secure . Lovely to stay at for business or leisure !

needless to comend on your Hotel's both the Icon and the Circa Hotel, I have booked with you in two years for the third time, that is self explaneable!!!

Amazing place!
The Icon Hotel was truly amazing, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It was home away from home.

Old Mutual Feedback
The location is ideal. The rooms were perfect except for the fact there are no phones in the rooms. Also having to walk across the road to the restaurant for breakfast is not such a nice thing. Then should the name of the hotel not be holiday apartments instead of hotel? As hotels normally implies bed and breakfast facilities and room service? Other than that the experience was good.

Pleasant stay at the icon
The apartment was very well furnished, clean and neat on arrival. Reception was friendly. Cleaners were efficient and helpful. I would stay here again for sure . The parking is definitely overpriced and we were not informed of this when making the booking. Could do with a larger variety of Dstv channels. Everything else met high standards.

Cape holiday
Great location next to CTICC. Brand new apartments, serviced daily with awesome decor. This is much better than most hotels at double the rate. Best value in town.

Lovely and worth the money
We got lost as the roads were closed on that day as we we circling one place. But we finally got there. The place is cool and it was good for the kids also. May I request to be send specials as I will always recommend it to my friends. I am from GP and now in the west coast and my friends always ask me about cool places to stay at and accessible to all amenities. Wow black and white is sheer pleasure.

Icon hotel
Rooms were very good. I would definitely go back. Excellent view and location. Very good value for the money. Front desk very poor. Towels were changed reluctantly. Shouldn't charge for internet, and it's expensive..
