The Shamrock and Thistle pub, within the hotel, stocks an extensive range of Malt and blended whiskies/whiskeys, as well as a fine selection of beers, spirits and liqueurs. A special feature of the Shamrock and Thistle is the huge open fireplace in the main bar area plus a traditional wood burning stove in the adjoining lounge. During the cooler weather you will enjoy wonderful roaring, crackling log fires to add to your comfort and well-being - blending the charms of times past with every modern convenience.

All food is totally prepared and cooked in our kitchen using only the finest quality, locally sourced, fresh produce. There is an extensive wine list which includes all the available wines of the Tulbagh region together with prestige wines from South Africa's finest producers as well as those from other New World regions.
