This 6 day tour you will take you to Stellenbosch, South Africa's premier wine making area where you can explore the beautiful villages and sample fine wines.

See the Cango Caves and visit one of only 3 Ostrich "Show Farms' in the area of Oudtshoorn, and admire the natural beauty of Featherbed Nature Reserve and Plettenberg Bay.

2 nights will be spent in the Knysna, a village located between the impressive Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean. Authentic African traders favor this town and it is a great place to pick up a few genuine handicraft souvenirs to take home with you.

Spend a night in the whale watching village of Hermanus, and if you are lucky enjoy the shore whale watching (August - November), you could meet the famous whale crier.

Travel via Cape Winelands to Stellenbosch. Wine tasting and museum visit. Continue to Worcester and Robertson. Overnight in Montagu.

Travel to Oudtshoorn via Barrydale and Ladismith. Tour Ostrich Show Farm (guided). After lunch, tour vast limestone Cango Caves. Overnight in Oudtshoorn. [BL]

Travel over Outeniqua Pass to George. Option to travel on Outeniqua Choo Tjoe steam train (For own account. Check Timetable). Transfer to Knysna and board ferry to the Featherbed Nature Reserve. Enjoy trailer ride to top of Western Head and walk back through Milkwood trees for lunch. Overnight in Knysna. [BL]

Drive through Nature's Valley and the Tsitsikamma Forests. Return to Knysna via Plettenberg Bay. Overnight in Knysna. [B]

Travel via George, Mossel Bay and Swellendam (lunch). Continue to Hermanus - world's best shore based whale watching sites (Aug - Nov). Overnight in Hermanus. [BL]

Depart Hermanus via coastal road to Somerset West. Continue to Cape Town where tour ends on arrival late afternoon. [B] Passengers may disembark, on request, at Cape Town International Airport.
