Walden House is a stunning Victorian home built in 1900, and is situated in Tamboerskloof. With Table Mountain as its backdrop and all the major tourist attractions that Cape Town has to offer at its feet, it is hard to find accommodation with a better location.
Walden House has been refurbished in a contemporary colonial meet Africa style and has a total ambient feel to it. The wholesome colonial breakfast, done by the expertly trained in-house chef, is included.
The 7 en-suite private rooms all have white cotton bed linen, white painted wooden floor and fans. This adds to the charm of this beautiful house. Each room is equipped with a telephone and a television whereas the heated towel rails and brass fixture makes the bathrooms extra deluxe. The main suite is luxurious and has amazing mountain views. You can also access the balcony from this suite. It has a fireplace and a large Victorian bathroom with a separate shower and toilet. Four of the other bedrooms have access to the green, lush garden.
