An African Villa

In combining three double story Victorian terrace houses the owners of An African Villa have created a wonderfully roomy building with generous rooms (Library/ Lounge/ Dining room) and a very peaceful, secluded courtyard with a plunge pool. The interiors have been widely published in international magazines as representing a unique African Zen decorating style also dubbed by one journalist as being like an 'Urban Safari'.

This four-star graded establishment is in a quiet residential suburb within a short walk of the city centre and numerous excellent restaurants. There are 13 rooms in three categories (Platinum/ Gold/ Silver and Bronze). All bedrooms are en suite. Free internet access and wi-fi are offered and the staff set out complimentary cake during the day and port and sherry in the evenings. A full breakfast is included in the rates quoted.

Tamboerskloof lies at the foot of Lion's Head and is one of the older suburbs of the Mother City and is populated with quaint Victorian houses. It is a very sought after area because of its close proximity to the city. Table Mountain is a 4 minute drive away and the V&A Waterfront and Cape Town Convention Centre equally close at hand.

The villa is owner managed and guests are made to feel part of the family. Tours, car rentals, restaurant reservations, airport transfers etc are all happily arranged. Parking is in the street and there are street guards at night to watch over vehicles. There is no charge for parking.
