We would love to welcome you to Langeberg Guest Lodge, our purpose-built guest house designed in traditional Cape Dutch style, and we guarantee you a relaxing and comfortable stay. We set out to combine modern European standards of luxury and comfort with old fashioned South African charm and hospitality...our guests tell us we have succeeded. If you are staying for more than one night we will offer to clean and tidy your room, make the bed(s), dry your towels, it's all part of our service. Enjoy your first - some say most important - meal of the day in the charming rustic ambience of our breakfast room. We provide a choice of Continental or delicious English breakfast - cooked to order - and possibly the best coffee in town.

We are pleased to report that in November 2008 we were awarded a 4-star rating by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. Swellendam is an excellent base for exploring the Overberg region and Breede River Valley - easily justifying a stay of two or more nights. We would be pleased to suggest day trips to help you get the most from your stay. (See the sub-menu of this page for some choices.)
