Klippe Rivier Country House

Klippe Rivier is a magnificent ‘5 Star’ Cape Dutch Country House, situated on the outskirts of historic Swellendam, 2 hours from Cape Town. The house is immaculate with gleaming yellowwood floors, spacious lounge plus reception rooms. A warm friendly welcome awaits guests on arrival.

The original ‘waenhuis’ and stables have been converted into luxury air conditioned bedrooms. The spacious bedrooms are down stairs and each has an open fire place, dressing room and large bathroom with separate shower and toilet. The loft rooms are situated upstairs under thatch roof and have private balconies with beautiful mountain views.

There is a secluded cottage ideal for honeymooners.

For leisure and relaxation there is a saltwater pool and horse riding can be arranged.
