Impangele

Impangele lies near the base of the Langeberg mountain range. This guest house is well equipped to cater for every traveler's needs, and has been adapted to provide maximum ease and comfort for any disabled visitors. It offers superb accommodation, furnished in tasteful contemporary African style, and boasts a peaceful indigenous garden, with mountain views. Swellendam is full of surprises and secrets. Very close to Impangele is a marvellous dam where you can enjoy the view, swim, have a picnic, drink a sun-downer. The secret path to this place will be revealed to guests at Impangele!

Rooms in the Main House

The en-suite rooms are beautifully furnished in contemporary African style. There is television, the facility to make fresh African coffee and tea, and, when available, tasty home-cooked treats to welcome you. (A special note for the allergy sufferer: all the rooms have either wooden floors or are tiled.)

Zebra Room

The quirky fun Zebra room, with its en-suite wet -room, is a lovely bright spacious room, with a very comfortable queen sized bed. This room has been designed to ensure that disabled visitors can enjoy their stay - there is plenty of room for wheelchairs, and the contrasting colour scheme is of benefit to those with visual impairment - and the TV has a large screen too.

Leopard Room

This is a huge room - the spacious environment, beautiful polished oregon pinefloors and gorgeous safari style en-suite shower room all create a unique atmosphere and a touch of African luxury. The room is big enough for a family of four to sleep in comfort - but a couple can luxuriate in the space, and lounge around in the leopard bathrobes provided!

The Cottage

The delightful cottage has so many extras that you will want to come back again and again to sample them! It is ideal as a base to spend a holiday - with the family or friends - just a few minutes' walk and you are at the base of the Marloth Mountain trails, which you can undertake on foot or by bike - there is a beautiful nine hole golf course also a few minutes walk away. David and Amanda are happy to put together fun packages and days out for you - try their Adrenalin Adventure, Family Fun, Epicurean Experience and / or Wildlife Watching two/three day packages. They will book everything for you - you just have to enjoy yourself.

The living area has everything you could want for rainy days and sunny days!TV, Playstation and games, CD player.
