Strand offers ideal waters for sailing, surfing, fishing and windsurfing. With its long and safe beaches, a number of restaurants and shops, only 48 km from central Cape Town, 20 min drive from the Cape Town International airport and accommodation to suit every budget, the Strand is truly an ideal holiday destination. There are various options for the keen hikers, beautiful scenic drives and a number of historic sites. There are also plenty of golf coursers nearby for the avid golfer.
