Stanford Valley Guest Farm

Come and experience the ambience of a Western Cape farm in the Akkedisberg mountains. Stanford Valley Guest Farm is nestled in the valley of the Klein Rivier, 10km outside of Stanford village. We offer comfortable accommodation in 5 self-catering cottages and 10 large en-suite rooms. Enjoy our safe and peaceful haven, have an exhilarating swim in our large dam or go hiking. Don't be surprised if you startle a duiker or ribbok on the way! On our 440ha farm we grow organic rose geranium and lavendin for essential oils.

Our Afrikaner herd helps to restore our soil and you will meet our chicken, ducks and geese roaming freely. Designed with the guest’s utmost comfort in mind, the large en-suite double/twin rooms have comfortable beds with white linen and many cushions and are decorated in warm colours. The older cottages, like the 150-year-old Stables Cottage sleep 2-4 guests and have reed and beam ceilings. They are equipped with modern en-suite bathrooms and kitchenettes and all have a braai and firewood on their private veranda.
