

St James is a coastal suburb along the False bay coast ten minutes walk South along the walkway built just above the rocks will bring you Muizenberg beach. North will bring you to the quaint antique stores of Kalk Bay fishing village which still retains its original character, with a vibrant night life and great restaurants.
The town was first inhabited in the 1700 by shipwrecked seamen and deserters. St James beach is noted for its tidal pool and colorful beach cabins, ideal beach for small children. The St James Main road has many restaurants and pubs and it is enjoyable walking to Kalk Bay to browse through the antique shops.
