Thunderclap Cottage

Thunderclap Cottage is located in Simons Town, the historic naval town of South Africa. It is situated in the Main Road with beautiful sea and mountain views.

Simons Town offers beautiful beaches with warm safe waters, and is close to Cape Point where the two oceans meet, the Nature Reserve with numerous walking trails, the Penguin colony at Boulders beach and many other tourist attractions.

The cottage features 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4) with en suite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with granite tops, fridge, freezer, micro wave, stove and washing machine. A smartly furnished, spacious lounge and dining area with cozy fire place.

There is a secluded garden with a portable barbeque facility to be used in the garden or on the front porch. The house is secure with off street parking as well as parking at the back behind close gates.

Activities offered in the area include cycling, hiking, horse riding, sea kayaking, sailing and boat rides. There are also many excellent golf courses near by. It is also close to the famous wine routes of the Western Cape.

Cape Town with the vibrant V&A Waterfront with its shops and restaurants, Table Mountain with the cable car, and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens are all easily reached by car or prearranged day trips.
