Cheriton Guest House offers consistently outstanding service and hospitality in the century old home overlooking False Bay and the historic naval town of Simon's Town. The well preserved, elegant Victorian home was originally designed by Sir John Jackson in 1898.
The Guest House offers a range of services and comforts to satisfy the most discerning traveller. Breakfasts are served in the cosy dining room or on the deck with stunning sea and mountain views.
A unique feature of the Cheriton is the honesty bar "Just Nuisance" which is en-suite to the Emily Hobhouse room. Here you will not only relax, but spend hours browsing the naval artifacts, artwork and outstanding humour lovingly collected and displayed by Dirk and Denise over the years. The interesting lounge area with its cosy fireplace and games table will occupy you on a chilly winter's evening. Breakfast is served in the dining room or on the balcony with stunning mountain and sea views. A full English breakfast is served with fruit juice, yoghurt, fresh fruit and a selection of cereals.

The Outeniqua is a family garden room which can cater for a family of up to 4. The room consists of 2 rooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen sized bed and the second bedroom with a double bunk, suitable for children. Bathroom is en-suite with shower.
Tranvaal
A delightful, spacious garden room with semi self catering facilities. Two single beds, kitchenette and bathroom with shower.
Emily Hobhouse
The only room with a bar en-suite!. This charming room with its distinct naval decor is a firm favourite with many booking it up way in advance. Furnished with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower.
Protea
The spacious Protea garden room is furnished with 2 single beds with bathroom en-suite with shower.
Drakensburg
The spacious Drakensberg Room is furnished with 2 single beds and is situated in the main house. Your privacy is ensured in this cosy room with en-suite bathroom with shower.
Simon Van Der Stel
A romantic double four-poster bed with en-suite bathroom with shower. This room is situated in the main house.
