The three star Protea Hotel Sea Point offers 124 rooms. Rooms are stylish and spacious with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, electronic safes, satellite TV and WIFI internet connectivity. All Hotel rooms offer either ocean or mountain views. There is also a room designed for those with physical disabilities.

The most talked about feature of the three star Hotel is the Art Luxury Suites, of which there are six.

Abraham le Roux has worked his magic on one of the luxury Hotel suites, bringing his magical take on South African township life into the room with his special sculptures that enhance the structure of the suite. His art is further developed through the use of earthy colours with rich leather works and dark wood.

The Paul du Toit room is created in the very defined style of this renowned Cape Town artist. Using bold colours and lines, he has kept within the style for which he is legendary, creating works on the walls, above the bed, in the lounge and even using the light-switches for inspiration.

Sophie Peters, from Khayelitsha, Cape Town specialises in typical scenes and township art and has created a collection of themes displayed in murals on the walls. Her artwork is vibrantly colourful - portraying the rainbow nation of South Africa.

In addition to this, is the Selwyn Pekeur suite whose colourful work includes framed scenes ranging from dancing couples to a saxophone player.

The two Luxury Junior Suites include the incredible Nomphopi Suite with its collection of Ndebele dolls. These beautiful handmade dolls are adorned in traditional brightly coloured Ndebele beading and finished off with the traditional bangle around the neck and leg. The dolls range in size from miniature in size to 1.2 metres tall.

The other Luxury Junior Suite is The Ndebele Suite that incorporates the works of seven artists, who have created 22 Ndebele art panels. This unique African art originates in the Limpopo province and is the mastery of Ndebele ladies namely, Diahbill, Nomsa, Duduzile, Embrocia, Nadiandili, Thoko and Mahlangu.

Unwind in the sophisticated and friendly atmosphere of the La Cafe Coffee Bar. This popular venue converts to a Cocktail Bar from 17H00 to 23h00. Protea Hotel Sea Point's La Cafe Restaurant is open for a delicious buffet breakfast on a daily basis and provides room service from 11am until 10pm, daily. The Seven Spur, open for lunch and dinner, not only prepares its popular traditional menu but is also flexible to the special needs of Hotel GUESTS by providing Room Service. The terrace seating is available as a smoking area for the Seven Spur.

The 3 star Protea Hotel Sea Point's recently refurbished Centre is equipped to deal with all of your conferencing or business needs. The eight separate suites all have individually controlled air conditioning, boast wall-to-wall natural light and can seat from 15-20 people, depending on seating configurations.
