I enjoyed my stay. The self catering units were great.

The Wendy House was perfect for my need for a comfortable retreat for some intensive academic writing. The unit was clean, cheerful, homely and comfortable, with everything I needed for basic self-catering. There were welcoming touches such as chocolate and champagne. It was lovely eating lunch by the pool with a great view of the mountain.

What you see on the Internet is exactly what you get!!!! Beautiful room!!!! lovely hospitality!!!

My family and I would like to thank Wendy, Scott and Bela for a wonderful three night stay in October this year! It really felt as if we were staying at a friend's place. :)

It was my Graduation week at University Of Cape Town and i needed accommodation for my family, i saw The Wendy House on the internet and i gave her a call, from the telephone conversation i could feel that Wendy is very passionate about what she do, i gave it a shot then i made bookings for my family.
The Wendy House was a great host for my family, they can not stop talking about the great service they received,the warm welcome and a feeling of being home (away from home). The smile on their faces every morning i go pick them up could tell it all that they were enjoying their stay.
It was their first time in cape town and they experienced great hospitality and they planning to come back for holidays
if anyone asks me about any great accommodation in cape town i will surely refer them to the Wendy house with no hesitation. from me and on behalf of the family i say thank you and keep up the good work, hosts like Wendy are hard to find.

I have stayed in the Wendy House ten times in the last five years. Nothing is too much trouble for Wendy who is a perfectionist and a warm and caring hostess. I intend to stay there three more times in 2010/2011. Given the quality, her rates are
reasonable.

We have stayed at the Wendy House a number of times, and have always found Wendy to be a lovely warm, attentive and friendly hostess. Her accomodation is impeccably maintained, and efficiently run. We prefer to self-cater, for which there are excellent facilities available, though I believe she will provide breakfast on request. the area is quiet, and the rooms extremely comfortable and homely. The access to her pool is a bonus in summer. There is also a lovely view of the mountain from her garden. I would HIGHLY recommend this accomodation, and will continue to stay there every time we go to Cape Town, our "home away from home".

The Wendy House is the only place where I want to stay on my vacation in Cape Town. Will repeat every time I return. Wendy and Scotch are incredible hosts and always make me feel in family.
