We're an eco-friendly guest house providing bed & breakfast, a self catering option and a refined cuisine which will surely tantalize your test buds.

Our comfortable rooms are comfortable to the hilt with extra-long double/twin beds and mainly direct entrance facing to the garden with pool.

We're located nearby the golf course and various wineries in the Robertson Wine Valley on the famous Route 62 only 180 km from Cape Town.

We're offering a 3-course fine dining Gourmet menu from Friday until Tuesday. The cuisine is light and tasty, healthy and enjoyable. It offers a wide selection in accordance with seasons and styles from summer to winter. It ranges from regional to international. Please make a booking, too.

Do you want to cater for yourself? Our well equipped guest kitchen in the garden offers you this opportunity.

SLEEP

All eight rooms are en suite with bath (2) or shower (6), hairdryer, wall safe, international power points, TV, magazines, books, tea tray, fans, electric heating and much more. Natural air condition is provided by thick walls, high ceilings and shutters to close. Elegant and cosy, comfortable to the hilt - all rooms at GUBAS DE HOEK are furnished in this way even although they may differ in style. Your room serves as your castle throughout your holiday.

DIRECTIONS: GUBAS DE HOEK ****meet, eat, sleep is situated 180 km from Cape Town and 1 hour to the airport.
Follow in direction to the N1 to Worcester, take the R 60 to Robertson.
Coming from the Garden Route N2, take the turnoff Swellendam, follow the road to Ashton (R 60 N15), on to Robertson, go straight ahead by the roundabout.
In Robertson stay on the R 60/62 until you see the blue sign of the Standard Bank / Reitzstreet. Turn into Reitz Street (Tourism Office on your left) and follow for 700 m. You have reached GUBAS DE HOEK. Welcome home!
