How does the crayfish get onto the plate?

You will experience the personal contact with the local fishermen when they land their boats onto the beach and proudly display their catch of the day. Get excited by choosing the correct size of crayfish to suit your appetite. You may want to partake in first-hand-preparation until the fresh crayfish will be served onto your plates. All this does not have to stay a dream. It can become real at Farr Out!

But that's not all! Stunning indigenous wild-flower-carpets between end of July and October will astonish you, bird lovers can discuss 225 different species, Cape Columbine Nature Reserve nearby Tietiesbaai offers the last manned lighthouse of South Africa, strolls along the eight kilometer unspoiled white sandy beach, frequented by playful dolphins and Southern Right whales in season, are a must. ...and much more to offer!

How about an adventurous Beach Buggy trip along the coastline? Farr Out offers tailormade Picnic baskets for an unforgettable sunset cruise. Or try the typical South African braai (BBQ) in our tepee like the Red Indians did centuries ago. At Farr Out you will relax your mind and leave the hectic city life behind.

Book yourself at Farr Out for comfortable accommodation. Situated on the outskirts of Paternoster, Farr Out is surrounded by Fynbos and the small Five (deer, marten, tortoise, Francolins and rabbits). The breathtaking beach is only a short distance away.

Luxury accommodation with privacy and style - the following rooms are available:

White Mussel is a north facing airy double bedroom (queen-size bed) at ground level of the East Wing with spectacular sea views which can be enjoyed from a private terrace.

Black Mussel is an east facing spacious double bedroom (king-size bed) at ground level of the East Wing. Fynbos will amaze your eyes from a private patio.

Oyster is a north facing overwhelming double bedroom (queen-size bed) at the top floor of the East Wing. Stunning sea views are inviting for a sundowner on the private patio.

Perlemoen is an east facing fresh double bedroom (2 single beds) well-known for its stunning sunrises at the top level of the East Wing. Perfect as annexure to Oyster Room for family/friends.
