Alba House Bed and Breakfast

Alba House is a 4 star graded luxury accommodation, offering bed and breakfast in the Western Cape Winelands, Courtrai in Paarl. 30 mins drive from Cape Town and the airport. Situated in a quiet residential area with sweeping views over the winelands, on the outskirts of town, near the N1 towards Cape Town. Paarl is in the heart of the Cape Winelands surrounded by wine estates, offering wine tasting and gourmet cuisine. Paarl is close to Wineland towns of Franschhoek and Stellenbosch, both 20 minutes drive. In addition to wine tasting and dining there are plenty of other activities including Paarl Golf Club and Pearl Valley Golf, Val de Vie Polo Estate, horse riding, walking, hiking, bird watching, trout fishing, canoeing, tennis, gun club, bowling etc.

Enjoy beautiful views from Alba House. The owners Ivana and John will make you most welcome in this friendly B/B. The house has a mature well maintained garden and a large swimming pool. All rooms are light and airy furnished to a very high standard. All have en-suite facilities, ceiling fans and air conditioning, heaters in the winter, towelling gowns and slippers for guests comfort, flat screen satelite TV, free WIFI, wall safe, bar fridge, tea tray, hair dryer. Private garden entrances to all rooms and own patio seating. Full South African or Continental breakfast is served in the dining room or the breakfast room. A choice of bacon and eggs (fresh from the farm), or a variety of omelettes, fresh fruit and cheeses.

DIRECTIONS: Alba House is situated in the scenic town of Paarl in the heart of the Cape Winelands and is just 40 minutes from Cape Town International Airport.
Driving from Cape Town on the N1 in the direction of Paarl, take the Paarl exit 55, turn left onto the R45(Main Road) and continue to the very first turning on the left signposted Courtrai. Turn second left to Flambeau South and continue until you reach a 4way stop. Drive straight over and take first left to Lille Street. Alba House is the 5th property on the left.
Should you be driving from the Airport, take N2 towards Somerset West, passing the Airport. Turn left onto the R300. Drive along the R300 to the N1 and then follow the N1 to Paarl.
