Situated within this magnificent expanse is a rugged wildlife sanctuary known as the Kgalagadi Transfrontier National Park.

An adventurous safari in this isolated game reserve and first ever Peace Park, spanning more than 3.6 million hectares of Kalahari Desert in South Africa and Botswana, is all about pursuing the predators. Spot cheetah, leopard, brown and spotted hyena and, of course, the Kalahari Lion with its commanding dark crown. A true untamed African adventure awaits!!

Situated high up on a red sand dune, looking out over a waterhole in a scorched bed of the ancient Aoub River, The Kalahari Tented Camp welcomes you to seize the spirit of the thirst land. This swish wilderness self-catering camp proffers an exclusive hideaway for the discerning visitor and with no fences, it calls the serenity of the Kalahari straight into your comfortable abode.

The Kalahari Tented Camp is the largest and most luxurious of all the wilderness camps. It has 15 en-suite desert "tents" made of sandbags and canvas with amenities like kitchenettes, bathrooms, and ceiling fans, electricity is generated by solar panels & gas. Stay surrounded by unforgettable scenery in a prime predator habitat, enjoy sundowners overlooking the waterhole or on the sundeck next to the swimming pool & end off the day with a tasty traditional “Kalahari” steak on an African barbecue.
