These charming Cape cottages are set in quiet, natural surroundings in a big private garden with sweeping views of the Noordhoek mountains and beach from the old centre of Noordhoek. Ekogaia Farm Cottages are designed to be both visitor and environmentally friendly. They have solar heating so the water will always be hot while the cottages have active and passive natural heating and cooling, so are always comfortable. Lighting is by CFL and LED bulbs.
Ekogaia Farm is a haven from the city but close to all local amenities. You can wander down the road to have breakfast at a choice of wonderful restaurants, or visit the local pub in the evening and weave your way safely home afterwards. The area has an indigenous garden with ideal spots to braai or picnic al fresco beneath the trees if you want to spend some time unwinding at home.
The cottages are fitted to the highest standards with all self-catering needs.
Both have clock radio combinations, radiant bathroom heaters, bedside lights, a fully fitted and equipped kitchen, free proper filter coffee, tea and a seasonal fruit bowl on arrival. There is a smooth inside-outside flow.
Our star beds enable you to be lulled to sleep under the African stars if you wish. There is a wide variety of wildlife from porcupine to mongoose while the many resident birds make this a real birders haven.
Spiral cottage can comfortably sleep six while the cosy Helix cottage sleeps up to five. Both cottages are double-volume with reed ceilings, echoing traditional Cape architecture. The attention to detail is evident everywhere in this stunning accommodation.
We look forward to welcoming you to your restful stay. Come and enjoy the city while staying in the country, a short and spectacular drive to town!
