7 Church Street offers luxury accommodation superbly situated

in stunning gardens in the heart of Montagu on the immensely popular Route 62 between Cape Town and the Garden Route and Port Elizabeth.

This lovingly restored Victorian home dates back to the 1850's and once boasted a thatched roof. The front elevation understates the jewels set at the end of the bougainvillea edged driveway, including the elevated garden suite with its spacious lounge and sun deck complemented by Dial Cottage a Cape-Dutch thatched property which contains three more magnificent suites with panoramic views.

Our suites are a welcome retreat to either just enjoy or to be a base for exploring the treasures of our area for 3 or 4 enchanting and memorable days.

ACCOMMODATION:

7 Church Street has now been "reinvented" with the incorporation of three magnificent suites; rates are applicable for the periods indicated.

Situated in the heart of Montagu which was voted South Africa's favorite village by 2,600,000 people, the main house is adorned by a proliferation of original art work given added warmth from the Oregon pine and reed ceilings which look down onto yellow tables set on red tiled floors.

Our suites are charmingly decorated with embroided cotton percale linen, original art, tea and coffee trays, hair dryers and fresh flowers. Enjoy a stroll in the magnificent gardens or relax by the sparkling salt water pool surrounded by panoramic mountain views.

Please note we give rates per person sharing (not room rates as used in some parts of Europe) and the rates include a full and scrumptious breakfast as well as assistance to make your stay within our location as memorable as possible. Single rates are on request.

Honeymoon Suite

The Honeymoon suite has its own entrance, 4 poster queen size bed and en-suite Victorian bathroom with ball and claw bath and separate shower, TV, exit to garden and pool area. R375.00 per person per night.

Garden Suite

The elevated Garden suite has its own entrance, queen size bed and single bed in separate room, huge 65 sqm lounge, sundeck, own bathroom with bath and separate shower, TV and fridge. R525.00 per person per night.

Dial Cottage-Suite One

Suite One has its own entrance overlooking the indigenous garden with two twin beds in a 36sqm vaulted thatched room with en-suite bathroom with separate toilet and shower. R450.00 per person per night.

Dial Cottage-Suite Two

Suite Two has its own entrance overlooking the garden with duck pond with a King size four-poster bed with an elevated mezzanine floor with an additional double bed in a 60sqm truly magnificent suite with en-suite bathroom with separate toilet, bath and huge two person shower. Dial Cottage-Suite Three
