Fountain Place Guest House

Situated in the picturesque village of McGregor, Fountain Place is a romantic and relaxing getaway only 2 hours drive from Cape Town. Housed in a traditionally-built National Monument (1862), Fountain Place exudes a sense of warmth, friendship and history, along with its reed ceilings and painted bedroom floors. Mark & Jane offer their guests a very high quality and professional service, whilst retaining a warm, friendly and personal approach. An ideal venue for newly-weds, second honeymooners, or even simply just a romantic and relaxing break. Within the guesthouse, we have two guest suites, accommodating four people in total.

Each suite consists of a bedroom (queen-size or single beds) with fireplace (very romantic in the winter months!!), private lounge with tea/coffee-making facilities and bar fridge and a Victorian-style en suite shower room. A small hairdryer is also provided. The suites are tastefully furnished with a mixture of antique furniture, highly quality fittings and unique decorative items. All of which add up to an atmosphere of elegance and comfort ? paying homage to the age of the building, whilst offering all the convenience and comfort of the modern world.
