Located in the West Coast National Park at Kraalbaai, 100 km north of Cape Town, this idyllic safe calm anchorage affords visitors a unique, unforgettable experience. Kraalbaai offers fishing, swimming, skiing, tubing, walking, hiking, bird-watching, beach fun or simply relaxing on board your houseboat.
Langebaan houseboats accommodation
Choose between 2 the Larus which sleeps 6 and is the smaller houseboat of the two or spoil yourself and stay on Nirvana, the largest most spectacular houseboat in South Africa which offers more luxurious accommodation, sleeping up to 24 guests.
Larus houseboat
The Larus houseboat accommodates a max of 6 Guests in 3 Cabins. It consists of a well-equipped open plan kitchen and dining area with a barbecue facilities. The master cabin has a queen sized bed, the 2nd cabin, a comfortable bunk bed. (2 guests) The 3rd cabin has removable mattresses which are used at night.
High quality linen and bathroom towels are supplied. Bring your own swimming towels and firewood. Guests are expected to leave the houseboat in a reasonably tidy condition. If you'd prefer us to clean it f we can, just advise in advance in order for us to make arrangements.
Nirvana houseboat lower deck
Spacious lounge with fireplace and sound system. The lounge walks out onto the large, wind-free fore deck, equipped with tables and chairs making this the ideal spot for dining with a view.
State of the art, fully equipped kitchen with large gas stove, oven and fridge. Kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery. In fact all you need to bring is your food and drink.
5 spacious bedrooms each with queen size beds, which can be split into two single beds depending on your sleeping preferences.
The Sixth Bedroom is equipped with two comfortable bunk beds (4 Sleeper). Although the "bunk" room is not as luxurious as the other rooms, the per person rate remains the same and it all equals out!
Quality linen, down duvets, pillows, and bathroom towels provided. (If allergic, please supply your own.)
3 full bathrooms with flush toilets, large pentagonal showers and basins.
Foredeck is a large wind free area leading off the lounge offering guests a unique dining area with spectacular views and shaded outside seating.
Spacious 45 square meter Swimming\Sun-bathing\Barbequing floating platform\jetty. Leading off the above foredeck area, it is a recent addition, not yet shown on the above photo.
Can accommodate a max of 14 guests.
Nirvana houseboat upper deck:
The upper deck can be accessed from either the aft or fore deck via staircases on either side respectively.
The spacious lounge offers spectacular wrap-around views.
State of the art, fully equipped kitchen. Large gas stove & oven, fridge, lots of cupboard space, crockery and cutlery.
Two Bedrooms, each with queen size beds, which can be split into two single beds depending on your sleeping preferences.
The third bedroom is smaller and has a comfortable double bed which cannot be split into 2 singles.
Two comfortable double sleeper couches in the lounge area.
A large deck for lounging and sunbathing.
Full Bathroom - flush toilet, large pentagonal shower and basin.
Can accommodate a max of 10 guests.
CONFERENCE FACILITIES for a Max of 24 people, fully catered or self catering. Ideal for small groups and directors. Meetings are held in the spacious upstairs lounge area where all necessary equipment is set up. Numerous large companies/corporations have become regulars.
