Whispering Whale Guest House Reviews

Jacobsbaai -- wild and wonderful
The Whispering Whale unit in which we stayed was fabulous. Crisp cotton sheets, spacious, everything you could possibly want in a kitchen, a warm welcome, the possibility of having a la carte meals catered for you, a view to the rocks and sea. Make sure you get directions: Jacobsbaai appeared south of Yzerfontein on our map, when it's actually closer to Saldhana and Paternoster; and the WW's sign was down for repainting.

Truly Superb Time
We had a truly superb time at Whispering Whale – impeccable accommodation and wonderful meals provided by Leentjie. The sun shone and we enjoyed strolling around the charming village, accompanied by a friendly dog!

I hope that we were considered sufficiently housetrained to be welcome to return.

A hidden jewel
If you want to escape it all, Jacobs Baai is just the place. The Whispering Whale is new, clean and fully equipped. It has a beautiful view and is completely unspoilt. We saw so many little animals about at night from owls to tortoises. The stars are amazing and the accommodation is dead quiet. This was the most relaxing holiday I've had in years.
