Southern Right Lodge is situated at the foot of the Raed Na Gael mountain range, overlooking Hermanus, the 27-hole Hermanus Golf Course and offers breath-taking views across Walker Bay. You can enjoy Fernkloof Nature Reserve, its unique Fynbos and from June to December our gentle giants, the Southern Right Whales. Southern Right Lodge is offering four generous en-suite rooms with queen-size beds and separate entrances. Families with children can enquire for additional cots. Our rooms are very comfortable and equipped with TV, refrigerator, hair-dryer, and tea and coffee-making facility. Our large hearty breakfast buffet, clear blue swimming pool situated in a landscaped garden and our terrace are inviting you to enjoy your stay with us. An off-street Parking - Area is to your use. We are within a 3 minutes drive from the Hermanus Golf Club. Golf players find this suitably attractive to practice their skills. Voelklip Beach has lovely lawns and is a great spot for surfing and boogie boarding and Grotto Beach with its stretched white sandy shore is ideal for Beach Volley-Ball or other beach events. Diving, Shark Observation, Jet Ski Rental, and Boat and Surfboard Charter complete your fun-filled holiday. For the romantic at heart, take your favourite champagne and discover a sunset to dream off on the African Queen sunset cruise or discover Walker Bay and Whale Coast air born on board of African Wings.

Between Somerset West and Caledon you will meet with the small town of Botriver close to the Houw Hoek Pass. Follow the exit towards R 43 - Hermanus. Continue straight onto R43 for 28 km to reach Hermanus.
At the first roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Magnolia Avenue for 110 m. Turn left to stay on Magnolia Avenue for 850 m. Continue onto Jose Burman Drive for 600 m. Turn left onto Fernkloof Drive for 500 m. Take the 1st left onto Selkirk Street for 600 m. Take the 2nd left onto Raed Na Gael Street for 300 m. Southern Right Lodge will be on the right-hand side, No. 24.
