Olive Tree Country House is situated approximately 120 km from Cape Town, in the heart of the whale route, the seaside town of Hermanus in Walker Bay and offers the best land based whale watching in the world.

This self catering/Bed & Breakfast property offers wide open spaces and spectacular mountain views that equates to peaceful getaways for families and friends. Our spacious accommodation, offering privacy and security, is fully equipped with all modern conveniences, including microwaves, stoves, TV's, DSTV, and DVD players.

Accommodation consists of four beautifully appointed double bedrooms that sleeps eight guests with two tasteful bathrooms, both with a bath and shower. The lounge area with fireplace, opens onto the swimming pool patio with glorious country views of the mountain and stream. We also offer laundry services, a large garden and a double garage.

DIRECTIONS: "From Cape Town, take the N2 highway towards Cape Town Airport, past the airport, drive through Somerset West and over Sir Lowry's Pass. Stay on the N2 until you see the signpost for Hermanus. Turn off and follow the R43.
Shortly after Onrus, but before you enter the town of Hermanus, turn left at the traffic lights onto the R320 (Hemel-en-Aarde Road). 100 meters down the road turn left again and then your first right. At the end of this short road you will find a set of gates leading into Glen Fruin Estate. Push number 14 on the intercom buzzer. Margaret Snyman will open the gate, turn left and then the next right down a steep hill. At the bottom of the hill turn left (into Olive Tree Lane) and the house is number 14, immediately on your right."
