DIRECTIONS: Traveling from Cape Town: From Cape Town follow the N2, direction Mosselbay/ George. Pass over Sir Lowry's Pass and Houw Hoek Pass. As you come down Houw Hoek pass Botrivier will be on your left hand side and shortly after you will see a turn off to Hermanus R43 to your left. Take the R43 Off Ramp carry straight along the R43 Hermanus (31km to Hermanus) You will pass the Kleinmond turn off and suburbs called: Fisherhaven, Hawston, Vermont, Onrus River, Sandbaai and Mount Pleasant before reaching Hermanus. Follow the R43 into Hermanus. You are now on Main Road. The road turns 90 degrees to the left at a 3 way traffic light, carry on through the CBD and over the 4 way Stop Street. Carry on, on Main Road for 4km. Abalone Guest Lodge is on your right hand side. 306 Main Road, the name is well marked on the wall outside. Traveling from Knysna: Take the N2 in the direction Cape Town. You will pass the following towns from George onwards: Mosselbay, Albertinia, Riversdale, Heidelberg, Swellendam and Riviersonderend. 10km after passing through the Village of Riviersonderend, Turn left onto the R326 (Hermanus, Stanford, Caledon) Carry on straight on the R326 for 41km until you reach Stanford. You will reach a Stop Street turn Right on the R43 Direction Hermanus. Follow this road straight into Hermanus. Carry on straight around the round-about (circle). After 1 km Abalone Guest Lodge will be on your left hand side. 306 Main Road, the name is well marked on the wall outside.
