Gardens
Gardens lies just outside Cape Town's CBD. It also borders Oranjezicht, Vredehoek and High Cape - suburbs more highly placed on Table Mountain. It is the ideal compromise between being as close to Table Mountain as possible while experiencing less wind during the more windy seasons.
The Camps Bay and Clifton beaches are only 15 minutes away from Gardens. Apart from having a few of its own night clubs, it is also a stones throw from Long street, one of the more popular night strips in Cape Town. For this reason it is one of the most fashionable residential suburbs.
Gardens is home to many street side restaurants and the nearby Gardens shopping centre is always buzzing with activity. If you ever get lost the Gardens tower stands close to the the centre of the area to guide you.
