La Galiniere Guest Cottages

La Galiniere Guest Cottages provide clean, comfortable and high quality accommodation for an overnight or longer stay. The three self-catering cottages have recently been refurbished, are tastefully decorated and provide high quality appliances, furnishings and linen. We have recently been awarded AA 'Highly Recommended' accreditation. The three Cottages are situated on a peaceful and secluded boutique vineyard with stunning mountain views. Guests are welcome to try the wine made from La Galiniere's Cabernet Sauvignon grapes; a complimentary bottle is given away with each booking!

La Galiniere is perfect for families. There is plenty of room, lots of privacy, a swimming pool guests are welcome to use and a paramedic on call (just in case!). We are also in easy reach of the town (10 minutes walk at most) and right next door to a family friendly Italian restaurant. Baby sitting services can be arranged. High chairs, cots, car seats and outdoor toys are available. The Guest Cottages are owned and managed by the owners of Winelands Experience, a tourism service provider based in the town, so tours, transfers, car rental and other accommodation bookings can easily be arranged. Winelands Experience signature tours focus on the region's wine culture; tasting experiences and wine coaching can be organized, taking advantage of Franschhoek's 44 wineries.

The stunning location of Franschhoek in a broad valley surrounded by impressive mountain peaks, makes it a great centre for hiking, horse riding, mountain biking and nature enthusiasts. It is also a great base to explore the surrounding area, Cape Town, the Garden Route and the Private Game Reserves.
