Franschhoek valley is situated between towering mountains 80km from central Cape Town and is South Africa’s gourmet food and wine capital , Franschoek literally means 'The French Corner' ,many visitors opt to stay here for the sole purpose of indulging their wine cravings along with their taste buds.
