Outside, Garden and Pool
The well appointed four holyday homes of Constantia Cottages are surrounded by an immaculate big private garden. Our guests have access to the beautiful 40 sqm solar-heated swimming pool. The entire property is illuminated by lots of lights during the night and is alarmed inside and outside the buildings with beams and sensors. Cameras at the bells show who is in front before opening up. We are connected to a security company (armed response). Secure parking for all cars in double-garages.
Cottage Cabernet
Our fully underfloor heated cottage has got two bedrooms upstairs both en-suite to the same bathroom. The master bedroom is equipped with a double bed, the second bedroom with a queen-size bed and one single bed. Bathroom with a big shower cabin, a designer basin, nice corner-bath and corner-toilet. Separate guest-toilet downstairs.
The granite-top kitchen downstairs is open plan to the lounge and fully equipped with high-quality appliances, such as a big fridge with freezer, a stove, an oven, the extractor and a microwave and a sink, a washing-machine, a tumble-dryer and dish-washer. There is small dining-area with seating for four, a day-bed (standard single bed) and a leather corner-lounger in front of the TV. Own private garden part and patio open to the main garden.
Cottage Chardonnay
This beautiful and cosy one-room apartment in its one small building offers furnished self-catering accommodation for two people in a queen-size bed and additional two on a comfortable sofa bed. Make yourself at home in this fully equipped Holiday Home to make your stay an enjoyable one.

Junior Suite Pinotage
Our Junior Suite Pinotage close to the Chalet on the same plot sleeps two in a double-bed. It has got its private entrance from the big garden and big windows that let you feel being in the garden though you are still inside. Completely underfloor heated.

We are situated in Constantia, which is a wonderful green suburb of Cape Town in the oldest wine region of South Africa, Constantia Valley. This suburb, close to Table Mountain, has got an excellent infrastructure with all amenities as well as a beautiful landscape with hiking trails: We are close to shopping facilities (e.g. Constantia Village), Steenberg Golf Course, the Famous Cape Wine Routes and have got excellent restaurants "around the corner". Confirmation of Booking / Cancellation terms
Bookings will be officially confirmed once a deposit of 50% of the whole amount has been paid. The remaining 50% MUST be paid into the Landlord’s account latest two weeks before arrival, after which all renters details will be made available.
In the case of the booking being cancelled during the rental period or with a no show then the following rules apply
Cancellation until 10 days before arrival = 100% of the amount of the rental are not refundable, unless that booking period can be rebooked with other people. In such a case a 10% administration fee of the total rental would be charged and subtracted.
Cancellation until 11 ? 30 days before arrival = 50% of the amount of the rental are not refundable, unless that booking period can be rebooked with other people. In such a case a 10% administration fee of the total rental would be charged and subtracted.
Cancellation 31 ? 60 days before arrival = 35% of the amount of the rental are not refundable, unless that booking period can be rebooked with other people. In such a case a 10% administration fee of the total rental would be charged and subtracted.
Earlier than 61 days before arrival = 25% of the amount of the rental are not refundable, unless that booking period can be rebooked with other people. In such a case a 10% administration fee of the total rental would be charged and subtracted.
Should we be able to rent out the units to other guests then the deposit will be prorated and returned (deduction of 10% as administration fee).
Deposit
The following safety precautions must be made:
Junior Suite Pinotage = R 1,000.00
Cottage Chardonnay = R 1,000.00
Cottage Cabernet = R 1,400.00
The deposit is due at arrival in cash or with a cash cheque which can be returned when the client leaves as long as there are no damages, breakages, losses or other debts.
Reductions and Extra Costs
Our prices on our price list apply to certain booking times, e.g. 1-2 days, 3?6 days, 7?13 days, 14?27 days or 28?56 days. The daily rates for longer stays from 14 nights are then lower. For shorter stays less than 7 nights the daily rates are then higher. Please enquire about daily costs for stays of longer than 56 nights.
Extra person in room (occupation more than standard)
No extra costs will be charged for maximum one child up to the age of 2 years in a baby cot which we can provide free-of-charge. For children aged 10+ we charge R100.00 each, for children older than 10 years and grownups who share the same unit for up to 3, 4 or 5 people (more than the standard booking) we charge an extra R200.00 per night.
Arrival and Departure
Check-IN: Not before 2:00 pm on the day of arrival
Check-OUT: Latest 11:00 am on the day of departure
In special cases we can accommodate our guests and work out an individual check in or check out time as far as this is possible for us. This of course depends upon the arrival or departure time of the previous guests where we have to leave a fair amount of time in order to have the units thorough cleaned.
