Boskloofswemgat is a beautiful small farm in the unspoiled Boskloof Valley, some 10km from Clanwilliam, at the foothills of the Northern Cederberg mountains. The farm offers five self-catering, thatch-roofed cottages, 1 corrugated iron-roofed and 2 quaint prefab cottages, all situated on the banks of the Jan Dissels River with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

It is the ideal place for a family getaway, or a romantic weekend.

Explore the farm roads on foot or mountain bike, fish and swim in the unpolluted river and be awed by the stars in the clear night skies above you.

Make this your base and explore the Cederberg, the coast at Lambert's Bay, Wupperthal, Namaqualand and Clanwilliam from here, or simply relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature around you.

Eight whitewashed cottages set in the tranquil farm landscape offer the ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

All are well equipped, have full bathrooms and good quality bed linen and towels are provided. Some have indoor fireplaces and all have outside braai facilities. Wood is for sale on the farm for your convenience.

Swielhuis Cottage sleeps 4 - in a bedroom with double bed and a double sleeper couch in the lounge. It is situated right next to the river pool and 50m from its nearest neighbour. Besides a fully equipped kitchen and full bathroom (bath and shower), it has both a indoor fireplace and outside braai facilities.

Langhuis offers complete privacy and your own rock pool. It also sleeps 4 people; 2 on a double bed in the bedroom and 2 more on a sleeper couch in the lounge. A fully-equipped kitchen, full bathroom (both bath and shower) and indoor, as well as outside braai facilities.

Hangnes Cottage sleeps 6 people - 2 in a bedroom with double bed, 2 more on single beds in the second bedroom and 2 on a double sleeper couch in the lounge. It is situated about 200m from the river, against the mountainside and offers beautiful views over the valley and river. Fully-equipped kitchen, full bathroom (bath and shower), fireplace and outside braai facilities. Enjoy the jacuzzi on the stoep!

Fivaz Cottage is a newly built and sleeps 6 people - 2 in a bedroom with double bed, 2 more on a bunk bed in the second bedroom and 2 on a double sleeper couch in the lounge. It is situated about on the river, about 50m from the swimming hole. Fully-equipped kitchen, full bathroom (bath and shower), as well as both an indoor and an outside braai place.

Kliphuis is an renovated cottage with a thatch roof and a very romantic option. The main bedroom (with double bed) has a fireplace. In the living area is a double sleeper couch, sleeping two more. It is situated about 10m from the river bank. Fully-equipped kitchen, full bathroom (bath and shower), as well as an outside braai place.

Owen is an adorable prefab cottage on the banks of the river sleeps 4 people; the master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has a bunk bed. There is afireplace in the living area and outside braai facilities. Fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom (shower only).

Nenna is another prefab cottage, situated on the river. The main bedroom has a double bed and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room. It also has a outside room, with 2 single beds. There is outdoor braai facilities, but no inside fireplace. It has a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom.
