Ratanga Junction Theme Park is close to the complex and young and old can enjoy the various rides and other entertainment they have to offer
Intaka Wetlands is an award winning Bird sanctuary and walking distance from The Island Club. On the Grand Canal just outside your apartment you can take a gondola ride to the sanctuary. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy watching the bird life from the viewpoints in the sanctuary.
It is within easy access to Cape Town's Table Mountain, the Victoria & Alfred waterfront, the Cape winelands and various beaches
From The V & A Waterfront you can go on a boat ride to Robben Island go on a sunset cruise.
Take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain and you will see the whole Cape Peninsula on a clear day. Take a day trip to Cape of Good hope reserve and visit Simon’s town and the penguins at Boulders beach.
Beaches such as Clifton, Blouberg, Muizenberg and Gordon’s Bay is not to far away. Take a scenic drive to Hout Bay and around Chapman’s Peak to Cape Point where two oceans meet. Wind surfing, hang gliding and mountaineering is some of the outdoor activities you can enjoy
The town of Hermanus is only a few hours drive from Cape Town. There you can do whale watching. The whale festival takes place every year during September.
Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden and Constantia Wine Estate is wonderful experience.

On the West Coast crayfish and seafood dishes can be enjoyed with a local glass of wine. During August/September the West Coast is transformed into a flower wonderland. You do not want to miss this spectacular transformation.
Visit the Grand West Casino. There are good restaurants, Ice Skating rink for the little beginners as well as an olimpic size ice skating rink, cinemas and live shows.
In Franschoek the Bastille Day festival in April is a big celebration with cheese and wine to enjoy. The wine estates can be visited throughout the year for good wine tasting and excellent food.
The starting point of the Two oceans marathon and the Argus cycle tour is easy accessible.
You don’t have to go to Kruger National Park to see the Big Five. Visit Fairy Glen Reserve and go on an organized game drive. A mere 90 minutes drive from your apartment.
