The design of this villa incorporates rooms on different levels and the open plan living, dining and kitchen spaces face the sea. Sliding doors open up all along the back of the villa and so, on good days, the living area becomes one with the terrace outside and the views beyond with light streaming in from every direction. Traditional earth grey is the predominant colour outside and in providing a restful background for the villas luxurious minimalistic artefacts. These stylish well-chosen accessories stimulate and brighten every room in the house and the earthiness and love of all things natural is a taste for high glamour, with lots of contrasting textures the result is calm and restful. Wood and earth de cote floors throughout this villa cope well with childrens messing.

Each bedroom is complete with a television, fitted wardrobes, chunky dark wood and cement wall shelving that add interest to the rooms, crisp white linen on each bed, sliding doors and windows with extra height allowing an abundance of natural light and allowing one to open the doors wide and listen to the sound of the sea on the beach. The upstairs bedroom has light grey stone tiled flooring and the wooden flooring in the downstairs bedrooms warms up the light colour scheme and matches the wooden fitted wardrobes. Bedroom one upstairs has a mini leather sofa chair at the entrance, overlooking beautiful greenery, a king size bed facing the Twelve Apostles to the left, Camps Bay beach and the ocean ahead, a smart dark wood desk and a little wooden balcony, a favourite place for relaxation. Bedroom two downstairs has a king size bed and a large balcony the entire length of the house and bedroom three has a Queen bed and bedroom four have twin beds. The four light painted bathrooms have ample space and include clean-line classic fittings and accessories in wood, cement and chrome, large windows with exquisite views and little square spotlights. The upstairs large sunny bathroom en suite has two long vanity areas with basins, a free standing large oval stone bathtub with a magnificent view over the ocean, a wooden floor shower and plenty wardrobe space. Bedroom twos dedicated bathroom downstairs has steps to a raised square grey stone bath positioned alongside a huge window that faces a picturesque rocky wall, and an extremely modern matching square basin. The two bathroom en suites downstairs have earth de cote flooring, huge grey stone walk in showers, one has his and hers basins and a free standing bathtub, the other has a single basin vanity area with a large rectangular bathtub for heavenly soaking.

This is where rustic charm ends and calm simplicity begins, a sensual fully equipped kitchen, unfussy and functional with elegant horizontal proportions brings glamour to this kitchen. Natural slate grey paint, earth de cote floors, clean expanses of mermaid green cupboard and drawer units, gleaming stainless steel appliances of the finest value, an American style fridge and freezer and a single slab of white work island with four clinically innovative, extra comfortable white and chrome chairs that break up the floor space, all prevents it from looking too uniform. To the right of the kitchen is a laundry/scullery and a guest loo. To the left is a grey tiled dining room that looks out over Camps Bay beach full of colourful umbrellas, bobbing boats and palm trees, with sliding doors opening on to the deck outside. The silver curtain rails with delicate white paper blinds and the gentle overhanging lights providing a low brightness, blend in well with the vast dark wood table and chairs. The fabulous combination of pale palettes and dark wood in the dining area gives the room its depth and structure.

A contemporary grey tiled living room positioned beside the white painted cement stairway that leads upstairs is where the units become part of the elegant living room furniture like the well positioned television screen with hidden cables. A light stone wall fireplace is the focal point of the room flanked by built in cement stone wall shelves in alcoves on either side and a well dressed comfortable light grey L shaped sofa with a resting point, offers the perfect place to lounge.

Out the back of the house you can walk up cement steps and along a paved grey slab path to a lush and inviting raised patio and square shaped plunge pool with magnificent views thereby enhancing your experience of this tranquil home. A large under cover patio is positioned outside the living room with a built in seat and fairy lights all around and a wooden decked terrace outside the dining room is fantastic as an entertainment space. Pack a picnic for Table Mountain, visit the vibrant V & A Waterfront with its host of shops and delicious restaurants, take a boat trip to Robben Island, take an evening stroll on the beach, a cocktail perhaps and connect with nature and the simple things at this perfectly peaceful retreat.
