The spacious entrance shows how a mixture of soft and hard textures and light and dark colours create a cosy atmosphere throughout this villa with a dark wood cabinet and free standing wall shelves, a solid dark wood armchair with a bright orange fur cushion, two large landscape canvasses and a framed charcoal portrait on the wall and a leopard sculpture, pots and African ornamental motifs that sit on the furniture while vast expanses of glass boast exquisite sea and mountain views.
Clean lines are used to display this homes beautiful furniture that sits comfortably alongside amazing works of art and the result is a charming air of sophistication and fun. The living, sitting, dining and kitchen areas are open planned with large glass sliding doors that open on to a tiled balcony that looks out over Camps Bay village, the beach lined with slender palms and Lions Head. The comfortable living room is reflected in a comfortable large sofa, a coffee suede sofa, two large dark wood and orange armchairs, a round dark wood and glass top table plus a large box shape coffee table and decorated with a zebra skin rug and a bird sculpture. The sitting room is a warm place to linger with a built in fireplace, an L-shaped long sofa, a weathered leather armchair, a dark wood cabinet, chunky wall shelves and an impressive plasma screen television. The dining area has a smartly patterned round table that is paired with eight textured beige chairs, a matching wall cabinet for storing placemats and tablecloths and large windows that face the swimming pool. The dining room leads on to a cosy sitting room with a cheerful apricot colour sofa and glass sliding doors that open up on to the pool deck, which leads on to a fully equipped kitchen creating a casual atmosphere while allowing a view from the dining area to the kitchen. Modern materials have been used for the hardware in the kitchen such as stainless steel, frosted glass, black granite tops and lots of wood with different shades of cabinetry creating a luxurious sophisticated space, convenient for whipping up delicious and memorable meals and a spacious laundry room around the corner. The kitchen has access to the front entrance via a passageway filled with old film star photographs creating a warm inviting atmosphere in the home.
Positioned up a dark wood staircase, the villas four en suite and air conditioned bedrooms are beautiful in their simplicity allowing guests to revel in their comfort, space and harmony with carpets that look and feel like sand, delicate curtains that decorate the glass doors and match the décor, crisp white bed linen, plenty fitted wardrobes and glass sliding doors that open on to the balcony with an outdoor weaved table, four chairs and two matching loungers. Bedroom one has a Queen bed with a smart leather headboard and mermaid green cushions, bedroom two has a Queen size bed, a dark wood table, brown ottoman, a grey suede armchair and a plasma screen television, bedroom three has twin beds with purple suede headboards, a large table upholstered in dark brown leather, a long curved camel suede seat and two purple oil canvasses mounted on the wall. Bedroom four has a walk in closet, a king size brown leather bed, a brown suede day bed, a plasma screen television and two vivid yellow oils on the wall.
The tiled bathrooms display calm colours and provide plenty storage space for towels and beauty products, bathroom one has an open glass and silver finish shower with a curved square shape washbasin, bathroom two has a matching shower, an oval shape washbasin and a cleverly angled skylight that allows direct light in Winter and eliminates direct sunlight in the Summer. Bathroom three has a low bathtub and an oval washbasin and bathroom four has his and hers round washbasins, a bathtub and a walk in shower. Two bathrooms have windows that either face Table Mountain, Lions Head, the Twelve Apostles or the Atlantic Ocean.
Tile and wooden decking create the edges of the swimming pool area, a sheltered terrace that offers cool respite in the Summer with a barbeque/braai and a weaved glass top table and matching chairs for outdoor dining, weaved loungers and large pots with delicate shrubs. A rectangular shaped rim pool is perfectly placed for whale watching and looks out on to the sea and the sky and the surrounding mountains.
