Bayview Penthouses Reviews

The luxurious accommodations and sweeping vistas were only surpassed by the gracious hospitality of our hosts and their two beautiful children, who made us feel like part of their family and devoted hours of their personal time assuring that all our needs were met and we had every opportunity to explore all that Camps Bay, Cape Town and the surrounding area had to offer. The most memorable of our month long African experience.

After a frantic search for a place to stay in Cape Town we found the Penthouse. When we got to Cape Town we were anxious to see it as we have been misled by internet pictures in the past. We were pleasantly suprised by the congruence between the pictures and the actual thing. The place has found a place in our hearts, especially my children. They were impressed with the amazing view, the quietness of the area and its proximity to places like the Waterfront and the Mountain. We got a bonus for, during our time the parade of the colourful minstrels passed next to the Penthouse. We are very grateful to Helen and Bobby who professionally handled our request and ensured that we were met by someone at the front door to show us around. We agree that this was our best holiday spent in a wonderful accommodation that has a sea(outside jacuzzi) of its own. We pray that God bless that Penthouse so that whoever walks into it finds peace and rest. Thank you oncemore for making our holiday so great.(A bit long but, could not say it any shorter).

The place is very beautyfull and clean, i can recommend it to anybody. The view is spectacular and it is at the centre of most palces, table mountain, waterfront etc

We were so stunned by your hospitality and friendly personality, you were really amazing.
What blew us away was the room in which we were staying! (Honeymoon suite) wow! The breath taking views of the Atlantic Ocean and mountains behind, let alone the fine wine in the room and my favourite Exquisite breakfast each morning… That just left us breathless.
Duma was awesome; we really enjoyed his brilliant service.

We had a lovely stay, except that the website indicated that the location is within walking distance to Camps Bay shops and the beach. The reality was that it was located at the very top of Bakoven and there was no way that even avid hikers could walk that far for a meal or a visit to the beach. We were therefore forced to use taxis at least 4 times each day, which proved very costly.

It is awful to go away and live in holiday accomodation that is of a lesser standard than your own home. This was certainly not the case at Bayview. The furnishings were all of a good standard with clean, fresh and crisp linen and fluffy white towels. The view over the bay was breathtaking, as was the view of the 12 Apostles. Thank you Bayview!

A wonderful experience with fantastic views. We had a terrific stay. Kitchen not as fully equiped as hoped, and no cupboard space for groceries at the penthouse whatsoever.

Very nice place with fantastic views. Lovely pool and communal areas. The only small issues was that there were a lot of steps to get to our room which was difficult with heavy bags.

Very well kept, great service, friendly owner family and staff. If it weren't for the noisy air conditioning ventilators outside right next to the studio room's bed's head, I'd give it the highest mark...

This apartment complex is located right at the top of Camps Bay and offers great views of the Bay. It is about a 5-10mins drive from the beach so a car is a must especially coming back at night. The apartments are run by a very friendly and welcoming German couple who do all they can to assist in a pleasant stay.
No down sides for us, as it was exactly what we wanted.
