The charming unpretentious community of Bonnievale, Western Cape, is fondly referred to as the “Valley of Cheese and Wine”, and is enveloped by the imposing Langeberg Mountains and the magnificent Breede River. Situated on a working farm just outside Bonnievale, Breede Escape offer guests an unforgettable, unique getaway.

Accommodation at Breede Escape consists of:

Breede Escape comprises of 2 Bush Camps accommodating up to 40 guests, and a quaint cottage sleeping 4 guests. The adorable huts are rented as a unit and are perfect for large families and corporate groups. Each of the camps feature separate sleeping huts, a lapa / kitchen area with indoor barbeque, and a campfire area for enjoying memorable moments. Bush Camp 1 feature six large huts each with a double and 2 single beds, a toilet and basin, rustic reed and bamboo ablution facility with bath and showers, and can accommodate 24 guests. The second Bush Camp sleeps 16 guests in 8 thatched huts each with 2 single beds but has no toilet or basin, guests to use the ablution facilities. Breede Escape’s Bush Camps are equipped with a television and satellite dish, guests are required to bring their own decoder and smart card.

Breathe in the fresh mountain air, interact with the cows and calves, paddle on the river in the kayaks, fish in the river and farm dam, go clay pigeon shooting on the farm, or just exhale and watch the abundant bird life, enjoy the tranquillity of this exceptional river outdoor experience. Play a game of volleyball at the bush camps, tour the wineries, and go hiking. Breede Escape is all that the name implies, truly an escape from the ordinary, a wonderful setting for absorbing the blessings of life and nature.

Bush Camp 1, entire unit, per night	Adorable rustic huts. Can accommodate up to 24 guests with double and 2 single beds in 6 large huts. Top bedding, blankets and duvets, per bed for duration of stay	Beds are fitted with sheet and pillows with covers. Guests providing own bedding should take care to bring appropriate bedding for double and single beds, as the beds are fixed and can not be moved. Prices are subject to change, confirm with booking.
