Main bedroom

Natural materials like driftwood, fan coral and shells merge to create a spectacular ambiance. The spacious and modern split floor room with a unique canopy bed on the higher level brings the ocean right into the bedroom. The colours of the sea are repeated in the aqua splashes in scatter cushions, ensuring that guests will connect with nature.

Second bedroom

A bright and cheerful atmosphere is created in the second bedroom through a purple and aqua palette of colours. Crisp white linen on the 2 single beds, an impressive classical crystal chandelier and light wooden furniture ensures a welcoming and cozy interior. The contrasting textures of a handmade natural white coral mirror and creamcoloured spaghetti rugs on the wooden floor adds to the atmosphere of this room.

Open plan sitting - and dining room

The sitting room is an explosion of colour with dazzling elements like the crystal chandelier and polished aluminum ornaments. Floor to ceiling windows frame Table Bay and Table Mountain in the distance, while the mirrored wall reflects the sea to give the illusion of Sunset 1008 floating on the ocean. A plasma screen TV, DSTV decoder and DVD player offers entertainment while you sit down to relax and enjoy unforgettable sunsets.

Kitchen

The modern kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher and washing machine. This is stylish simplicity - with an amazing view of Table Bay from the window as a bonus.

Bathroom

The bathroom boasts quality finishes with black natural stone tiles, big mirrors and intricate detail. A retro chandelier gives a warm, glamorous glow over the white bathroom appliances while aquacoloured towels bring in the ocean feel. Views

The views from Sunset 1008 over Table Bay, Table Mountain and Robben Island are endless and breathtaking. Be prepared to spot whales, dolphins and seals swimming past. Watch kitesurfers, windsurfers, surfers and bodyboarders while schools of dolphins play alongside kayak paddlers. Keep the binoculars at hand to watch the ships sailing into and out of Table Bay.

Bloubergstrand

Bloubergstrand is well-known for its azure sea with big waves and tubes for water sports enthusiasts. A beach path runs from Milnerton to Big Bay and is excellent for an early morning jog, roller blading or strolling next to the long, sandy beach.

Enjoy a mouth-watering breakfast, a delicious lunch or a gorgeous dinner at one of the many well-known restaurants in the area, of which the closest is only 100 meters away on the beachfront.

There are 3 shopping centres close by and the biggest, Canal Walk at Century City, is a mere 15 minutes drive away.

Bloubergstrand is situated a convenient 25-minute drive from Cape Town International Airport and is centrally situated for daily adventures to major tourist attractions. The MyCiti bus service links Bloubergstrand with Cape Town city centre, the V&A Waterfront and other tourist attractions in and around Cape Town.
